That\u2019s why a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/backcreekwatershed.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/07\/BackCreekWorkPlan.pdf\">Watershed Protection Plan<\/a>\u201d has been developed to guide voluntary restoration and conservation efforts in the watershed.<\/p>\n<p>The plan was developed by Green Rivers, LLC, in partnership with the WV Conservation Agency, Eastern Panhandle Conservation District, WV Division of Forestry, and others. It enables the state to offer matching funds for the Berkeley County Farmland Protection Board to buy conservation easements. Easements enable property owners to permanently \u2014 voluntarily \u2014 preserve land along streams without selling their land.<\/p>\n<p>Interested in learning more?
